Since MZ is on vacation, I'll pipe in... this should be taken to the
RADIUS list...

As for 1400 users and 200 lines, if you have 1380 users that all use a
default entry and only 20 that need special entries... or something like
that... The default is VERY useful. You don't necessarily need a unix
box to do authentication. There is also a NT version... Hmm then again
without knowing your setup you might be relegated to an internal user
list... but... remember there is a finite limit where the PM will start to
barf on a too large internal list.
