Once upon a time Richard Stuplich shaped the electrons to say...
>Livingston RADIUS 2.0.1
>Linux version 2.0.31
>3 PM2E's ComOS 3.3.3
>2 PM3's ComOS 3.7.2
>
>All take a LONG time to authenticate... I thought this was slow radius
>server but that is now a very fast system, Pent Pro somthing.
>
>Things I have done so far to find it:
>Turned off CHAP
>Added, then deleted, alternate radius server address
>
>Note: When I tested the alternate I set it to the same system.

That won't accomplish anything except double the load on the server.

>What's next, or is almost a minute a norman time?

1. 'radiusd -x' - See when the server gets the request and how fast it is
to reply.

2. A PPP debug on the user(s) having a slowdown. They may be trying to
negotiate a lot of junk, thereby slowing down the process.
