(PM) unable to sync isdn

A little help...pleeeeease
pm2e ComOS 3.7.2
one 5 port bri card
ISDN Switch Type: NI-1
I can see customers connecting, then they are terminated by the pm2, the
customer recieves a message saying unable to sync in 20 seconds. This box
worked fine until I rebooted it this morning (go figure). I turned all
security off on it, still no go...
ideas? hints? theories? buy me another PRI?
