1) check if you set their modem to force v.34 if it works fine...
2) check line condition quality ... something like:
(in terminal window)
+++
at&l or at%l or at&q
I don't remember off hand. that will show levels and such of that current
connection....
and since I napped for 4 hours I'm too lazy to check for it tonight... so
you'll have to look for it yourself... ;)
