So this modem doesn't work on any port.

Sounds like the modem configuration might have been scrambled. When you
dialin to this modem do you see the prompt ok? Do you see garbage? What
do you get?

And no modem works on this port.

I'd quadruple check the port config to make sure it is the same as
the other ports that are working. You might post a 'sh s#' of this port
and one of the working ports to the list (don't send it to me, I'm off
the rest of the week).

And same thing as above. If you take a working phone-line/modem/cable
triplet from another (working) port and plug it in here then dial in,
what do you get? Do you get a prompt?

It could be - are you using CT1 and a channel bank? Or are these all
seperate POTS lines running into your premises? What if you move that
phone line to another modem - does it follow the line or stay with the
modem?
