Once upon a time Henning P. Schmiedehausen shaped the electrons to say...
>As far as I can see, there is no explicit "call out, wait for reject,
>hang up" mode for the PM. So I thought, ok, just set the redial

No, we don't have a mode like that at this time.

>timeout between two calls to the customer to five seconds or so, in
>the meantime, he has called back and we have a connection running.

>I didn't find any way to set a redial-delay for a dialer group. Am I
>blind?

Sorry, the redial timer is set in ComOS and is not user configurable. If
we get a reject we pause and then try again. I believe it is a one minute
wait. If he has already dialed back and we have a route to him, that
should stop the on-demand location from trying.

>global dial group. As far as I understand the ComOS, this is not
>possible as every channel ist member of exactly one dial group, isn't

Every port is the member of one group, and every location is the member
of one group.

I'll pass this suggestion on to engineering.
