(PM) OS-HS Frame Overflow

Hello,

This OR-HS customer with 3.7.2 with 128 frame connect
via our cisco 2501 version 10.2 (needs upgrading i know)

Symptom -- Line stops sending LMI, cascade 9000 takes circuit
out of use after missing 3 LMI . Rebooting Adtran and OR-HS brings
circuit back up. The condition only occurs on largefile download
requests (3MB+)

Upload are ok. Limited use can be maintained for days.

I have many other frame circuits of other speeds using PM2er
and one other OR-HS with 128K where I are not having a problem.
I did not think I could limit the bandwith out s1 to multible
pvc's via the cisco

I have heard that the Cisco may be able to limit bandwidth to the
frame. I assume that I would need to upgrade to get that cisco feature.

Follows is the GTE response:

Any Suggestions?????

FROM Customer and GTE:
-----------------------
Thanks for upgrading the Router OS. However, we can still cause
the problem with downloads.

Spoke with Dave Rand(GTE Manager) who said:

1. Line has been tested at full T1 speed and works fine.
2. There should be a way (setting, etc.) for us to limit our
usage to 128K max - their Coos Bay test showed we are
running up to 126% of the 128K - way too high.
3. Since your other customers connections work OK, that
tends to point to a problem with the equipment at our
(Hardin Optical) end - probably TSU and/or Router.

Dave said he did not think further testing of the line itself
would be of help at this time - that we should find a way to
limit our throughput to 128k max.
