Once upon a time Carl Hillsman shaped the electrons to say...
>subject line, i find my eyes running together. why is it even needed?
>and please don't tell me you need for for a procmail sort....

The times, they are a-changin. I got a number of letters, growing in
frequency, asking for a subject line key to be added. More and more
people on the list aren't on UNIX, and are using mail clients that don't
have the powerful sorting of procmail or filter. But nearly all have
the ability to key on subject lines. Even if they don't, it calls them
out seperately if in a folder with other mail.

I'm on many lists that use this, and it never bothered me. Maybe I'm
just used to it now. Though I admit I rarely read the subject lines on
the PM list since I read it ALL anyway, I just dive in and read. But I
do scan subjects on other lists.
