(PM) PM3s and fast busys

I appologize if this question has already been asked. I just recently
joined the mailing list.

Is anyone that upgraded their PM3 ComOS to 3.7.2 still experiencing fast
busy's as a result of modems going into "admin" mode? The release notes
suggest that the problem has been fixed in this version. I've heard the
contrary from other PM3 users.

We currently have a major problem with modems going into "admin" and
"down" mode during peak usage. We are currently using 3.7.1.

Its unfortunate that Livingston is incapable of releasing a patch to fix
this problem. If it was Cisco, their engineers would be working around the
clock until a solution was found. Cisco's solution would probably involve
upgrading the ComOS, and not a silly little script that telnets into PM3s
to set modems "on." Its too bad that Cisco wasn't the one too aquire
Livingston!

Most products progress with new releases, but the PM3s keep degenerating
with each new ComOS release. Fast busy's, spontaneous rebooting, loss of
connectivity, and disconnects are all wonderful benefits of owning a PM3.

Hopefully someone has a solution.
