There has been some discussion about GTE and their provision of ISDN
service. Here is a web page I found that given an NPA/NXX will return
information about GTE's plans for ISDN service in that area:
http://www.gte.com/Isdn/Get/get.html.

I also know from experience that GTE will haul ISDN service into their
service areas that don't have ISDN available using an FX type service.
These are the cases that I know about which have been provided service from
Bryan/College Station:

LaGrange, TX Approximately 50 miles away in the Bryan LATA and
scheduled to get ISDN installed by 12.30.1997.

Kyle, TX Approximately 90 miles away, not far from Austin and in
the Austin LATA. The costs on this is around
$1,000/month and I don't know the install costs.

Normangee, TX Approximately 40 miles away in the Houston LATA. This
costs $200-300/month.
