The problem is that by the time PM's have IPSec support all of the
other mayor players will already have VPN products for at least a year.
Anybody that requires VPN RIGHT at THIS MOMENT is not going to buy
LE gear. There are feasible solutions from Cisco, Microcom (now Comapq),
and others.
If you can afford to lose a number of customers because of
strict standards only support, then that is OK, but you have
to be aware of it. There is definately a need, and there are
some feasible solutions. Don't give me this script how,
this protocol is flawed, and this key management doesn't do this.
There are some solutions that alebiet are not perfect but can
be used to have semi decent VPN. Is it perfect, NO! Is the
world perfect?
