As seen by chance in a recently-rebooted PM3 (with ComOS 3.7.2), *one*
cause of CIRCUIT DISCONNECT. with the period seems to be that the most
recent call did not lead to "modem detect". The modem in question showed 0
calls and CIRCUIT DISCONNECT. in the show modem output, and one call with
no modem detects in the show Mxx command.
