Usually caused by NOT having flow control enabled. The modem is either
feeding the serial port too fast, or the serial port is most likely
feeding the modem too fast and ignoring flow control. Make sure you have
set s? rtscts on, and then make sure the sportster is hardware flow
controlled with at&f1.
