What use is that? You have to load up the GUI every time you want to do a
quick check of errors and other counters? How is Amber supposted to keep
it in sync. between sessions?

Yes it is. That is how everyone else does it.. everyone is vocal about
resetting counters - it's just a few of us vocal people who would like it
done a clean and simple and useful way.

No there aren't. I'm pulling my hair out not being able to reset counters
without rebooting.
