We use a PM2e30 since three months. Never rebooted. No problems at all,
but for strange (random) hanging up of modems:
after disconnection, communication apparently stay up (show session
give a USERNAME status on the line),
modem has DTR (and sometimes DCD too) led on. A simple reset
has no effect... We have to off the locked modem by hand.
A couple of times the customers ppp sessions remained 'freezed' for
1-2 days (but pinging the line revelead that there was no real peer on the
other side)! ComOS release is 3.5.
Is this a possible modem problem or a portmaster one?
Any suggestion is really appreciated...
