During a tech call, a LE support person suggested that I have SNET adjust the receive
levels on the lines (see following). When I called SNET, they claimed that the
T-1s were close enough to the CO so they wouldn't need repeaters and that
they were built on HDSL Pairgains. IOW, they claimed the levels were within
spec to the smartjacks.
Is my cabling suspect for the low levels? I'm using standard CAT 5, about
30 feet from the demarc.
