I'm using an office router connected to the same ethernet as I am, using the
same subnet on that ethernet.
I've used the pminstall function to give portmasters their ip's before and
it worked without a hitch.
This particular one did NOT have its address, but appears not to have been
sending any BOOTP requests.
I'm running the pminstall on solaris 2.5.1 -- and NOTHING happenings. I get:
Listening for BOOTP request....
about 3 times and the boom -- back to the menu.
On other portmonsters, it sets things up rather quickly.
This is a new office router, btw. (at least, its new, and I'm assuming that
it hasn't spent THAT much time in the box.)
