If it WAS a portmaster, then why is there a COM OS for an OR-U and a
separate version for a PM 2? I see what youa re saying. And you actually
CAN use the serial port with a modem on it. I was just implying that
pminstall might not "like" it.

Rev "F" was the first prom to support tftp booting. And AFAIK, the OR-U's
never had anything below that. They didn't exist that long ago.

It wont already have an IP if you flip up the switch to netboot.

I have noticed that the pminstall/pmconsole latest version (text based)
for linux is kinda WEIRD. Cant explain it, just not able to connect to the
portmasters all the time. I use the NT/95 version. Its prettier.
