Gee I wish there were a standard for Stac on ISDN (Well there is an RFC
but not everyone seems to be using it). I had a time figuring out an OR-U
to Ascend P-50 compression set up. Ascend apparently supports 3 different
flavors of Stac labeled:

Stac - thats not it
MS-Stac - Ascend says this is for Win95 machines only
Stac-9 - This is the one that worked with the OR-U

And it is the dialing machine that requests compression and particular
flavor so I would do more research to ensure that "Yes" the Cisco 766
is interoperable with the OR-U. From our experience the 766 is a pain
to configure with ANY Livingston products period.
