PM2 upgrade failed! desperate!!!

It's around 11pm EDT, and I was attempting to upgrade a PM2 from 3.5 to 3.7
During the upgrade process, I received a message indicating an invalid opcode
and the upgrade was aborted. At that point the unit was dead, so I
rebooted it to no avail.

I then attempted to netboot a generic PM2 image, which was successful until
ComOS started. Then I saw a message:

Invalid length for flash 0/0 - 65535

I'm suspecting that the flash has died. I tried to reformat using

set register 0xffff 0x0102, but the command returned in just a few seconds,
rather than the 90 seconds the netboot instructions indicated.

I'm desperate! If anyone out there can help, I'd sure appreciate it.
Please respond directly, since I only receive the digest of this list.
