That would be MY guess. A CRC error is a checksum error which means that
the checksum value that was sent did not match with the derived checksum
value from the actual data.

Ive seen CRC errors dissappear with the swapout of cables. Try that first
as that is easy to do.

Then you can call the fone co and ask them to test the line.
