Once upon a time Jose Luis Delgado shaped the electrons to say...
> Active Configuration Default Configuration
> -------------------- ---------------------
> Port Type: Netwrk Netwrk (Dial In) (Security)

Note this will only allow SLIP and PPP. No text logins.

Everything else is fine.

>portmaster not configured completely yet:
> Interface: Unassigned (PPP,Listen) (PPP,Quiet)
>
>portmaster configured completely ok:
> Interface: ptp1 (PPP,Routing) (PPP,Routing)

This is normal. A port will always show 'Unassigned' until a call
connects. Then the interface is established.

>trying to add the Interface 'ptp1' show me:

This isn't ADDING an interface, just showing it.

>IP_DOWN!

Right. You CANNOT add an interface manually. Period.

Everything you showed here is normal.
