PM3 & Practical Peripherals problem

We've got a customer with a Practical Peripherals 33.6 PCMCIA modem that
has been trying to dial into our PM3 with no luck at all. The PM3 answers,
but the two can't seem to negotiate a connection under win95. He was able
to connect just fine with our old analog modems, but can't seem to with the
PM3.

Our system: PM3, ComOS 3.7, K56flex modems.

Has anyone seen problems with this modem before. Any magical ideas on init
strings for that puppy.

Thanks in advance.
