Just had that same thing happened here. Got escalated to me from Technical
Support. I went through the same steps that you have done. My
recomendation to her was to do a fresh install of 95. The lady didn't know
much about computers, so she took it into a shop for this to be done. The
shop re-installed 95 (and from what she described, they installed osr2).
The problem ceased once this happened.
