Rel 3.7 and OSPF checksum errors

The release notes for Release 3.7 state:

OSPF on Cisco routers syslog a warning about OSPF Checksums every 15
seconds. This was caused by the buffer for simple OSPF password not
being properly cleared when MD5 encryption is used. This problem has
now been fixed.

Actually this release also fixes the same problem when simple (clear text)
passwords are used with OSPF rather than MD5. And it wasn't only Cisco
routers that complained about the errors (every 10 seconds in our case)
- gated did as well, just not as frequently.
