I was able to find an upgrade for my external accura 56k
ftp://ftp.hayes.com/modem/accura/accex52a.exe

and was able to flash my modem to :

V0.520AHY-K56_ACF_DS2
A few months back I remember someone mentioned there would be a test bed of
modems to try to connect to at Livingston. Is there
such a test pool? Or does anyone know if this modem is destined to fail?
