Following upgrade of PM3s to 3.5.1b20, we have several long time customers
whose computers will hang during negotiation when calling PM3s. Now, I
just received a report from two of our tech support staff.

Here's the report (both David and Barry are IT techs):

>This is David, I am writing from Barry's computer. Reason is, I am
>here in Gainesville and I decided to dial in to check my Email via the
>Whitesboro number. Barry has no problem connecting, but everytime I dial
>(using the same phoneline even), my computer locks up as it has been
>described. This is the first instance that I have had of this problem. I
>did not experience this earlier when I was in Denison calling the
>Denison pop. While listening to the tones, it mostly goes through as
>normal till it reaches the end. Then I hear 2 beeps and my computer
>locks up. I am running a Pentium 133 with 64 mb Edo Ram and a 33.6
>Zoltrix modem. Again, I have never experienced this problem before
>today. Hope this may be of help. Barry is running a Pentium 120 with 48
>mb ram and a 33.6 USR Sportster Modem. Both of us are running Windows 95
>(newest version) and neither of us have ever installed Explorer 4.0.

Writer's note: Denison pop is PM2s with USR MP/16s and USR NetServer/16s
(i.e, POTS) and running ComOS 3.5.1b17.

Has anyone else experienced similar results?

If so, what was the work around?
