Use Radius accounting. Or even syslogging. Each machine has a unique name
and ip and shows up differently in the logs.

Use one of the usage/stat packages like MRTG.

or use usage.pl at ftp.ams.com/pub/livingston. Its just a syslog grepping
perl script that adds up a few numbers and spits out a report.
