IRX-111 1.8R -> 3.5R

I am trying to upgrade a IRX 111 from 1.8R to 3.5R. The upgrade
failed, and the portmaster rebooted itself, and hangs in the reboot.

I did use the right pminstall version, I was able to upgrade another
IRX from 3.0 to 3.5. Is there any way to get around this? Right now the
PM cannot be accessed at all.
