We just turned up our first one. There has been some traffic on the list
about some modem brands having problems, but so far we've seen good
connectivity. Livingston has put out ComOS revisions that seem to correct
much of this.

It depends on how you feed the PM3. If you feed it with ISDN PRI, it
just works natively. No muss, no fuss. If you feed it with channelized
T-1, then ISDN is only available via the DOV (DOSBS) protocol, at 56Kb/s
per channel. Again, it just works natively, but your users must set
their ISDN adapters correctly.

The choice of PRI vs. channelized T-1 feed is usually driven by telephone
company tariff and availability issues.

Nope. It's all the same other than setting up the T-1 lines, which is
easy. Documentation on the channelized T-1 settings is a little weak,
but read the list archives and you'll be OK.
