I have to admit we had major telco problems and they drove us nuts till
they admited it was their fault.

One thing that I didnt understand about ISDN is that the telco oversells
it. A lot of the trouble that people will find is that the line
disconnects, or wont connect after several tries, and getting the message
"Call cannot be connected". The PM3 will not have the same troubles as
PRI's are dedicated circuits. BRI's are thrown into the mix at the telco
switch, and if you are in a busy area you are lucky to get online with
isdn when you can. However PRI's are treated differently. No-one else
can use a line dedicated on a PRI except you, so the call will always go
through. I am in bell atlantic land so your phone company may do things
differently. Also I had the pleasure of actually seeing where the telco's
make mistakes. A lot of times it's in the AT&T or Adtran U-BRITE card
settings in the CO. We've had to ask several times that the telco check
the dip switch settings on these cards with what was on the other end, and
usually if the line had a problem it was because of this.
