MZ you made a real good guess.
Rockwell based PCMCIA card fires right up and is working like a champ
USR 33.6 Model # SP1336 (tried two brand new ones) won't configure on the
OR-M (at least this one) Running 3.5L
It recognizes the modem on a diagnostic boot, even gives the correct model

The port just won't stay configured
Heck I even used the USR init string and this one fired right up.
Sooooo... Anyway BUG, RFE request, DFWAI, or LOL whatever... that's the
scoop.
