Yes, you're correct. BUT, on the all digital side you need server type
modems, like a PM3, Imodem, COMMplete, etc... also the through put goes
56K from digital to analog and 33.6K analog to digital (rough lab figures)
so you do not want the digital side to be on the client's end.

What type of line is the Digital extension line? Is it ISDN BRI? And why
a decision to go with X2 on a PM2e30? So far the solution that may work,
though I'm still waiting to hear from anyone.... please someone be a
guineapig 8), is to use an Imodem on a BRI.

Otherwise, if you have 30 lines per link, it sounds like you can use E1,
which is what the PM3 with the E1 interface is for...though check with
your telco to see if it is compatible with one of these switch types:

5ESS
DMS-100
NET5
1TR6
NTT
KDD
NI2
