Hello PMs Gurus,

In all documentations and in that list, we read a inumerous information
about X2. If we learn anything about the use of X2 modems, we can use it
if we have, in maximum, ONLY one analog segment between two modems.
Example:

Access Client
Provider Modem
||||||| |||||||
Modem A Modem B
\ PTN - Public Telephone Network /
\ /
----|||||----------------|||||--
CPA A CPA B
------- --------------- -----
Segment A B C

IN MAXIMUM, the segment A or B or C can be analog, all other have to be
digital. In our case we have a Philips IS3030 PABX. This Pabx is connect
to PTN using a two digital HDSL telephone links, we can have 60 lines
with this configuration, and we can have +-240 lines with 8 links.

The diference of this configuration is that we can use digital an analog
extension lines. Now we are using only analog extension lines but, we can
put a digital extension lines in the PABX.

Ufffff!! If you understand wath we attemp to explain! |-)! We have one
question:

If we use a DIGITAL extension lines in our PABX and the ONLY analog
segment will be the client segment, can we use a X2 with PM2E-30?

Thanks by your opinion!!!!
