PPP (LCP/PAP) wierdness

Hiya,

I had some troubles with MIAMI (Amiga PPP stack) user, first his
system would connect and the PM3 happily announced the connection
and routed, but no packets were echoed from his end. Well, it works
now "somehow", but his PPP Debug still looks wierd:

As you can see (if you're fluent in hex and PPP tokens ^_-) there was no request for PAP (or CHAP) authentification. Unlike all the other users which use the same RADIUS 2.0 DEFAULT entry, for example:

This time the PM3 started right away with a configure request including
PAP... Is there anything going on before the LCP stage which might 
influence
the first request of the PM3 PPP stack?
