Is there a known problem with a Pace Microlin 33.6 Modem (Version 1.01)
talking to the PM3 DSP's with ComOS 3.5c6. The modems attempt to
negotiate but then just end up with a continuous tone and no connection
!!!
The reason I am asking is one of our resellers has just bought a batch
of these to sell to their customers and they can't connect.
Luckilly it wasn't one we re-commended but we would still like to try
and help them if possible.....
If there is someone (in the UK) successfully running 3.5b11 is it
possible that I could get them to try their dial-in number to see if
they can get a successful modem connect with one of these beasts.
Also, we are getting complaints from people regarding disconnection
problems I know this has been discussed on PM Users but I wondered if
there was a known problem. Unless it is absolutely necessary I don't
really want to u/g to 3.5b11 as I don't need CT1 support and I don't
really like running beta code on production systems
