Yes, you can always attach to a port, then issue ATDT (phone number) for
placing a modem call. Additionally you can use the AT dialing command with
&n64 for ISDN 64K connection, &n56 for a 56K ISDN connection, or &n55 for a
56K ISDN data-over-voice connection.
