And maybe have the lines checked. A 'sh line0' may point out a problem.

Are you talking about retrain or renegotiate? The latter is what v.34
should do all the time and the former is a v.32bis thing. After 2 or 3 in
one session most modems will drop on the next retrain.

Need sleep again? There are 5 v.34 connections and 3 of them are at 28.8
or 31.2, one at 26.4, and one at 21.6. I'd check what they have with a 'sh
mX' and see. Are you saying that you wish to drop from 60% -> 50%?

FWIW, one person that used to use a 9600 would frequently connect at 7200.

Bargain price a no longer used v.34?

T minus 8 days till the modems start coming done, except for about 10-15,
but I wonder about users. Sent a message out to try out the new stuff and
only 5% or so have. Just hope that I have enough analog lines.
