Confusion concerning 56Kflex/X2

All,

I've now received both opinions so I need some clarification:

I have in-house several PM2ER-30 units running ComOS 3.5. I also
have a few USR TC hubs with digital and analog/digital modems that will be
X2 capable. I also have Multitech Modem Cages that we may upgrade to 56k
capability in the future.

My questions are:

Can I connect the X2 capable modems in the USR chassis' to the
PM2ER-30 Serial ports (s0-s29) and be X2 capable?

Can I connect the Multitech's to the PM2ER-30 Serial ports
(S0-S29) and be 56kflex capable?
