I have bsdi 2.0, and am setting up slackware linux (at this moment). Bsdi
cost $$$ if (oh sorry $$$$) I want another copy....ahhh

I don't want to swap everything to linux (a) cause I've never used it
before (b) everythings working finr so why touch it (c) That'd be a waste
of an OS that I paid for!!

Do you recommend FreeBSD for the combatibility issue (ie swapping passwd
files)?
