have you visited the customer site to view the situation and check
machine/modem and other onsite stuffs?

side note:

we had a sportster 14.4k customer that just couldnt get 14.4k for
like 3 months a long time ago...

we "ass-u-me'd" customer competency...

after going onsite, a wireless transmitter type phone jack was
found to be the culprit... err should i have said, a fairly inept person
was found to be the culprit?
