Well, you could have a UNIX box monitoring the status of those DTR via a
timed TCP/IP poll (every minute lets say) and if it changes state then
broadcast a timed shutdown on any servers connected to those UPSs... and if
the DTR state changes again, broadcast a cancel for the shutdown.... not
too complicated, haven't tried it, but doesn't sound too bad...
