Command history in ComOS 3.3.3?

We run ComOS 3.3.3 on several PM2-30s. Does the OS save a command
history?. It would be nice to have this history and be able to use the up
and down arrow keys to toggle through them. Or, maybe this would be a
waste of memory. Is it possible that we may see this in a future OS
release, or can it be somehow be done already?
