Win95 traceroute doesn't show portmasters

Hi, I have been wondering about this for a while but just bothered
asking.. I am curious why when a user is logged into a PM2 with PPP
(Haven't tried it with SLIP) and they use the tracert.exe program from dos
to traceroute to somewhere when it jumps across my portmaster and just
puts three *'s instead of times. Why is this? After it gets past the PM
it works fine.
