Grab the pmconsole stuff for windows and run it on a windows machine,
or call Livingston (or someone on this list, really) and have them
upgrade your portmaster for you. I apologize in advance to the poor soul
at livingston who's glaring at me for increasing his/her workload. :-)

You need PMConsole to upgrade the portmaster and install a saved
configuration file, and you need PMReadconf to backup the configuration
file from the portmaster.

P.S. - hey livingston, will there ever be a pmreadComOS? It'd sure be
handy if you happened to not be net connected always. :) (Or if the
livingston FTP server were down for some mind-boggling reason. :)
