In the last two days, our portmaster has all of a sudden come down with
something (maybe the same thing megazone had ;)
When dialing into ports 0 and 1 one gets the following
atdt*******
CONNECT 26400/ARQ
=E0=1C=1C=FC=FC=FC=1C=FC=1C=FC=E0=E0=FC=1C=E0=E0=1C=1C=FC=1C=FC=1C=FC=FC
We're using radius for authentication, and syslog, and nothing shows up i=
n any

the two ports that were affected were our heaviest used lines, because th=
ey are
right at the beginning of the hunt group. The first thing I thought when=
I saw
the above was that perhaps it was a serial cable problem, not plugged in =
tight,
or just a bad cable, so I replaced it, but no luck. I then reinitialized=
the
modem, no luck, rebooted the portmaster, no luck.....
Our modem's are USR Courier v.everythings, so I'd be very surprised if th=
ey're
the culprits....they're less than 3 months old.
So....anyone have any ideas what it could be?
