The bug is in MultiTech modems. Three modems work great with &E13, the rest
dozen only with &E12. All of them have same ROM (3.08), one (w &E13) 3.12, and
differs ONLY with that damn pacing modes. May be MT tech support would solve
the mystery for me (no answer yet). Field fix works!
