Tom,

For Boca 28.8 v.34 modems the following string is the only one that we have
found that will work reliably with any other modem brand and/or speed.

Type the following commands at the portmaster prompt:

> add modem boca-v34 "Boca v.34" 115200 "AT&F&K3&c1&d2v1x4s0=1l3&W\r^OK"

> save all

Then configure the ports to use the modem init string:

> set s1 modem boca-v34

-or-

> set all modem boca-v34

> save all

> reset all

This should work fine. You can also add additional modems by changing the
name and the setup/init. string. Good Luck!
