With the livingston radius, there's no way to do it. Obviously, it's
easy to hack radius to do it, but there are better ways. 1) As far as I
know, Merit can do this. 2) *take the phone line out of rotation*. :)
If you have a reserved phone line in the middle of your rotation, when
your ordinary customers call it, they're going to get pissed. We did
this once when US West couldn't install a dedicated line fast enough for
our customer. I got flooded with mail. :)

The third solution applies only if you're running USR Courriers on
your end (and is really elegant if you're running them on both). The
courriers can be set to use inbound dial security, where in order to even
make a connection to the modem (the modem doesn't even signal the PM) a
password must be entered for authentication. You can create "matched
pairs" of courriers which will auto-authenticate with each other. One of
our users uses this for security with his dedicated line, and I was quite
tickled when he showed it to me. It's all explained in the courrier
handbook.

That has the advantage of working with the stock radius/setup/etc, but
the disadvantage of not logging false login attempts on that line. I
personally like it.
