Once upon a time Kevin M Lynn shaped the electrons to say...
>tracked down a modified version of the radiusd with the SCP patch in it
>for radius1.16. I was sure this was it.. I installed the radiusd.c and
>recompiled and..

Note, they are patches. If they aren't part of the standard 1.16, we
technically don't support them. So we're being nice in the first place.
User's who decided to patch the code take their chances.

I couldn't even tell you thing one about the patches, they aren't part of
the standard distribution and I don't pay any attention to them. We don't
keep info around on user patches. (Or other products, some people call
up - "I'm running Merit Radius 2.4 and this isn't working...")

>something that SHOULD be simple.. I may be crazy but I think if you don't
>call every day their tech support will assume you don't need help anymore
>and never call you.

If you *do* that you annoy everyone and no one will want to help you - we're
human too and we get annoyed and pissed like everyone else. There are
people I'll stay all night to help, and people who bug me so much they wait
until I'm free during business hours. Everyone is human and I'm not going
to do any more than I have to for someone who bothers me, or the people I
work with. And if anyone is outright abusive, they wait until they can
be civil.

That's me talking, not livingston policy or anything. I have too many
issues to work on, and too many people who are civil and polite, to waste
time on those who aren't.
